i have not done this for three years, since Jordyn was a baby. Now Ashlyn is here and I want to try again. i am not very good with a computer but i think i'll get the hang of it. i got in touch with an old friend the other day and felt inspired to try better to keep in touch and blogs seem a great way to do it though i am not sure where any of us really have the time. but what is more important besides family than sharing memories with friends and family.

hello out there in blog land. this is a short description of our family. We are five plus a dog, two horses and a fish named Morty, thats right, Morty, not Marty, Morty. Lilly is very particular about this. Jacob and I were married in Denver, Colorado, in 2002, or was is 2003, jacob would know for sure. We have three girls, Lillian (Lilly,), Joslyn (Josi) and the smallest though she will probably be the tallest when all is said and done, Jordyn (a.k.a. "the baby"). We live in Choctaw Oklahoma. once in a while...

Here it is, almost seven glorious months since thebirth of baby Jordyn and I am just getting back to blog land. i wasn't sure anyone would read our blog and i was disheartened. i checked in a couple weeks ago, and lo and behold, five blessed friends had left messages. Hope was rekindled in my heart and after reading a couple other friends blogs, i realized what a blessing i think they are. I love seeing pictures. So, if any of you happen to grace us with your presence on our blog again and you have a blog, please let me know, I will be sure to follow. Like I said, seven months have passed. The baby is sitting well on her own for the last couple months, she scoots her feet around if i "walk" with her, and she is pulling herself over trying to get around. i think she will be crawling in no time. Here's a bit of whats been going on around here: * Lilly started school and decided to go by "Lillian" at school. *I stood in an ant hill while swinging Joslyn and got bitten. Talk about opposition in all things. *When i come back in the room, the baby is not in the same spot as I put her down. How'd she do that? She looks as baffled as i do. *the baby is almost crawling. *While cleaning the kiddie pool, Lilly told me she doesn't care about play time, she just wants to do lots of hard work and earn lots of money. I tried hard to keep a straight face. *I started running again after five years. I have done five miles at a time, pushing the double jogging stroller. kudos for me. *found a passion flower growing wild on the hill behind the house with lots of fruit on it! *Accidentally hit the dog on the head with a stick while playing catch at a pond! *Lilly upset because the neighbor called her a bad name.
