a list

Here's a bit of whats been going on around here:
* Lilly started school and decided to go by "Lillian" at school.
*I stood in an ant hill while swinging Joslyn and got bitten. Talk about opposition in all things.
*When i come back in the room, the baby is not in the same spot as I put her down. How'd she do that? She looks as baffled as i do.
*the baby is almost crawling.
*While cleaning the kiddie pool, Lilly told me she doesn't care about play time, she just wants to do lots of hard work and earn lots of money. I tried hard to keep a straight face.
*I started running again after five years. I have done five miles at a time, pushing the double jogging stroller. kudos for me.
*found a passion flower growing wild on the hill behind the house with lots of fruit on it!
*Accidentally hit the dog on the head with a stick while playing catch at a pond!
*Lilly upset because the neighbor called her a bad name. Come to find out the bad name was "pee-wee ."
*Picked out counter tops.
*New house was painted. Whoooooooa! not what those little paint cards look like!
*I made fresh elderberry pie. pretty good.
*cell phone died after being drenched at the splash park. never take the distance of the benches for granted.

I got a trampoline for my 28th birthday. its a great place for chase and wrestling matches and watching the stars come out.

watching popcorn popping is so fascinating. if we are ever wondering what to do, we make popcorn and watch a show.

coming back from a walk

the baby still sleeps in a bouncy chair in the bathroom and sometimes the closet because the bedrooms are taken by sleeping children or daddy during the day (he works at night). I had her sitting up in the chair and she tried to climb out. this would have been funnier if she hadn't just soiled her pants. she was not hurt, of course, and didn't seem to mind just hanging out like that.

taking a sink bath. i love that face.

Joslyn found the bottle nipples. so funny.

a festival at the park

the "binkie brigade"

Joslyn took the liberty to assume responsibility for keeping our family in good appearances while at the park. i guess i was not up to standard.

that's not what i meant when i said "smile" but its pretty funny

a passion flower growing behind the house. these are named after the passion of christ. every part of the flower has been given a symbolism of christ.

this kid could not get enough of the curly fries

Lilly's first day of school.
